The course, which begins on Friday 4 October 2019, covers a wide range of African policy and practical elements relevant to students of Media Studies, Journalism, Communications and related disciplines. It is provided free-of-charge by the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Johannesburg, on the global edX MOOC platform.
The modules have been put together by a group of friends of the late African media activist, Jeanette Minnie, including several media experts.
